Early Humans

Some form of what we think of as humans have been around for tens of thousands of years.  A human that walks upright on two legs with a hole in the bottom of their skull for the spine to enter.  Three hundred thousand years ago, at least eight different human species inhabited the earth.  Today, there is only one surviving species, Homo Sapiens, or modern humans.  All the other species have gone extinct.  Even though these other species are no longer with us today, their fossils have been found all over the world.  Although there are many different nationalities of humans today, we're all the same species, Homo Sapiens!
