In the Bible there is a story of a great exodus of the Jewish slaves from Egypt?  The Bible story claims that there were thousands of people that left Egypt and wondered in the desert for forty days on their way to a promised land.  Over the years, many archeologists and other scientists have tried to find evidence of such an event and have found nothing.  Certainly that number of people and their animals would have left some sort of evidence.  Did the Exodus really happen or is it just another Bible story that's been passed down from one generation to the next.  It's possible that there may have been a smaller group of people that left Egypt at one time and the story just got more and more exaggerated over the years just like so many other stories in the Bible!
