Welcome ​Back To Reality

As children, we are taught to say the "Pledge of Allegiance" in school.  We learned to speak the words "one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all".  Were the words "under God" part of the original "Pledge of Allegiance" or were they added at a later date?  Was it the intentions of our countries forefathers to have religion incorporated into our nation's Pledge?  What about the separation of Church and State?
