Telling Your Friends

If you are a member of a church congregation, most of your friends are probably part of the church family.  You probably have other Christian friends that you have met from other churches in the areas.  You may have some friends outside of the church like at your workplace or places where you shop or eat.  Who do you tell and who do you not tell that you are no longer a believer?  Once they hear that you're not a Christian anymore, your Christian friends may never talk with you again unless they're trying to get you to come back to church.  Sometimes it's difficult to know which of your co-workers are Christians and which ones are not.  If you've worked with them for very long, you've probably figured out who are the believers.  Some are obvious by the way they talk and act.  Chances are, if they're wearing a cross necklace, they're probably Christians or at least believe there's a God.  Your supervisor may be a Christian also.  If you think it may cost you your job, you may not want to mention your decision to your co-workers or your supervisor.  If you feel that your job was terminated because of your religious beliefs, you may want to seek legal advice on the matter.
