Geological Timeline

The geological timeline for natural history and the geology of the earth can be traced back millions and even billions of years, from the formation of the universe, the forming of the planet Earth, and the evolution of all living things on the planet.  It has been a fascinating journey that is constantly changing.  In retrospect, humans have only been on the geological timeline for a very short period in history.  Understand that the dates are approximations and things are changing all the time as new evidence is discovered.
