Where did everything come from?  That is the big question!  As a child brought up in a Christian home, you were taught that a mighty god in the sky created everything just by speaking it into existence.  In just six days, God created everything: the universe, the oceans, the animals, and of course, the people.  Centuries ago, that was the only way that the human mind could comprehend all the physical things around them.  Some mighty force had to create them, so certainly it must have been some sort of supreme creator!   In today's modern age, we know through biology and physical science that there is a more logical way of understanding how everything came to be.  Evolution is a long and slow process that happens over millions and billions of years, but it has brought us to where we are today.
